The Studera International Scholarship Foundation is a foundation of international students from different parts of the world, who seek to promote undergraduate, masters and doctoral studies for the benefit of poor and developing countries. The courses/programs/projects are ground-breaking, developing into methods or products, which are directly relevant for improving the livelihoods of poor people in developing countries. Instead of giving you fish, our responsibility is to link you to sponsors to enable you learn how to fish for yourself and others around you.

Scholarship award covers
1. Full financial support for registration / tuition fees ($3,000-$60,000)
2. Best study conditions will be ensured
3. Two free return air tickets to and from country of Host University
4. Monthly living allowances
5. Five-star hostel accommodation will be provided
6. Student group medical insurance will be provided
.
Qualification:
For Undergraduate Degree: Secondary/High School Certificate/Diploma. (Applicants awaiting result can apply and those already in University/college/polytechnic should include academic transcript)
For Masters Degree: Secondary/High School Certificate/Diploma and University/College Degree/Diploma.
For Doctoral Degree: Secondary/High School Certificate/Diploma, University/College Degree/Diploma and Masters Degree.
Eligibility requiremnts:
There is no age limit and nationals of any country can apply. Scholar must be very willing to work in Africa upon completion of study. He/She will have to sign a three year contract to work in Africa to contribute towards African Development which is the aim of the 2009/2010 Scholarship Scheme
Beneficiaries are chosen on at least one of the following bases:
- Leadership potential and commitment to community or national service (provide proof) and/or
- Academic excellence and/or
- Random selection not minding academic qualifications (multiple entries are allowed) and/or
- Written essay (a. How would the study period benefit you and African development? b. Financial reasons for applying for scholarship)
